Status The Ostreococcus tauri genome, release v2.0, was sequenced at Genopole Languedoc-Roussillon and underwent assembly and the initial round of annotation at Ghent University, Belgium. The assembly contains 125,586 reads assembled into 20 chromosomes and 98 scaffolds. This release includes a total of 7,725 predicted gene models produced through the collaboration of JGI and Ghent University annotation teams. These preliminary sets of gene models and annotations are being refined through further comparative analysis and manual curation. Collaborators This project is a collaborative effort involving:
