The Protein Page gives information about a JGI-predicted gene and allows you to compare the resulting protein's sequence to those for other proteins in relevant sequence databases worldwide. (The page can also be switched to a flipped view, which shows how a single protein from an external database aligns with JGI-predicted proteins in the organism's genome.)
