Genome Search
Using the genome search box at the top of the JGI portal Front Page you can search for genomes by
  1. keyword : Searches every field for which information is associated with JGI genomes such as genome name, NCBI info, and pre-associated tags (e.g. "plants")
  2. name : Organism name
  3. taxonId : NCBI taxon id
  4. projectId : NCBI project id
Just type in the search field and you will a list of suggestions will pop-up with relevant terms.
Clicking on Search presents results in a table, depicted below.



  • Organism Names link to corresponding portals.
  • Click on a Subcategory to see a table of genomes corresponding to that classification.
  • NCBI info items are linked to the NCBI Taxonomy Browser.
  • Click on a Contact to e-mail the P.I. for this genome.
  • Click on a column header to sort the table accordingly.
