Joint Genome Institute has released 310 Prokaryotic microbial
sites, with 237 in finished status.
From
this site you can get details about our projects, or go directly
to the individual microbial sites. All of the individual
sites include direct access to download sequence file(s),
BLAST, and view annotations. Also, the Eukaryotic
microbial sites include advanced tools.
The JGI does
not distribute genomic DNA, strains or
clones used in the sequencing projects.
DNA or bacterial strains should be obtained
by contacting the collaborator
for a specific microbe listed on its
Info page.
